Be Part of the Solution

The Community Behavioral Health Association of Maryland (CBH) is the leading advocacy organization for Maryland's community-based behavioral health providers, including both mental health and addition treatment. CBH represents the combined expertise and voice of more than 800 behavioral health executives across the state. CBH leverages this knowledge through advocacy, education, and affiliation with peer members.

CBH plays a key role in shaping state policy on behavioral health issues by advocating for legislation and funding that promote crisis services, telehealth access, and integrated care systems. Through regular policy briefs, public testimony, and collaborative initiatives, CBH helps drive improvements that affect providers and clients alike. It also helps ensure that Maryland’s behavioral health network can meet changing demands in communities statewide.
